Puzzle Workout privacy notice

Your workout stays yours.

Your scores and workout history stay in your browser and are not sent to us. Google Analytics and Google AdSense separately process site-use and advertising information as allowed by your consent choices. This notice explains each data route and the controls available to you.

Data map

What exists, why, and for how long.

Hamilton Digital Media Limited is the controller for personal information processed through Puzzle Workout. Local workout data does not reach the company. Google acts as a service provider or separate controller for some Analytics and AdSense processing described in its own terms and privacy information.

01

Local workout data

Includes
Game results, scores, accuracy, timings, dates, workout position and preferences.
Why
Save progress, calculate records and resume a workout on this browser.
Legal position
Stored on your device to provide the progress feature you request. Puzzle Workout does not receive this data.
How long
Until you reset it, clear browser data, use private browsing or the browser removes it.
02

Website request data

Includes
IP address, requested path, time, response status, response time, technical request information and provider-generated traffic metrics such as approximate country.
Why
Deliver the site, understand basic service use, maintain security, diagnose faults and investigate abuse.
Legal position
Legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website.
How long
For the limited period made available by our hosting and security providers, and longer only where needed to investigate an incident.
03

Analytics data

Includes
Pages viewed, referrer, session and event information, browser and device details, approximate location and consent signals.
Why
Understand how the site is used, diagnose problems and improve games, navigation and content.
Legal position
Consent for analytics storage and full measurement where required. Google tags receive denied defaults in the EEA, UK and Switzerland until the consent choice is available.
How long
According to the retention controls in our Google Analytics account; some aggregated reporting may be retained without directly identifying a visitor.
04

Advertising data

Includes
Consent choices, IP address, device and browser information, page context, ad interactions, identifiers and cookies or similar storage where permitted.
Why
Request, select, deliver, limit and measure advertising, prevent fraud and support personalised or non-personalised ads according to your choices.
Legal position
Consent where required for advertising storage, user data and personalisation. Limited data may also be processed to record choices, prevent fraud and deliver contextual advertising where permitted.
How long
Controlled by Google according to the type of advertising data and your Google settings; the CMP stores your choice so it can be respected and changed later.
05

Contact messages

Includes
Your email address, name if supplied, message, attachments and our replies.
Why
Respond to feedback, accessibility reports, corrections, rights requests and business enquiries.
Legal position
Legitimate interests; steps towards a contract where relevant; or legal obligation for applicable rights and complaints.
How long
Normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful exchange, unless law or a potential claim requires longer.

Local progress storage

Saved for you, not sent to us.

The games use a first-party browser database called puzzle-workout-progress. It contains results, daily-workout state and small preferences needed for records and resume features.

  • No identity is attached by the site.

There is no account, username or email field in the progress database.

  • No background upload occurs.

The game and progress code does not transmit this database to Puzzle Workout or another device.

  • You control its lifetime.

Export or reset it from Your Progress. Browser settings can also remove it.

Cookies and similar storage

Google’s CMP manages analytics and advertising choices.

Google tags receive denied consent defaults in the EEA, UK and Switzerland while the CMP obtains or reads a choice. Google Analytics and AdSense may use cookies or similar storage when the relevant purposes are allowed. The separate puzzle-workout-progress IndexedDB database remains limited to saved game progress.
